In the last few weeks, Microsoft has begun to roll out the early versions of the Skype for Business for Mac application. Microsoft intends to do a staged release process, releasing one feature at a time to a small group of testers. Currently, the Meeting Preview application is available. You can run the Skype for Business Preview alongside the Lync for Mac 2011 app, using the Skype app for Meetings and Lync for everything else. A meeting on Skype for Business on Mac looks slightly different than its Windows counterpart. Instead of the Gallery view, we just have a speaker view. There are still restrictions on Mac There are still quite a few restrictions; Although you can see screen presentation and present your own screen, you cannot request or give mouse control. Skype for Business on Mac is the all new client that provides modern communication and collaboration experiences for your Mac. Compatible with Office 365, Skype for Business Server 2015, and Lync Server 2013. Great visuals such as edge to edge video and full immersive screen. Skype for Business Users: S4B Mac ADFS failing. My presumption is that Skype is using Safari to do the load out and when it's getting the transition of ADFS prompting for a certificate that it's just not painting the page and discarding the prompts. That's likely why the page isn't loading and the client isn't able to log in properly. You also do not have access to advanced sharing options like whiteboard, polling or PowerPoints. But remember that this is in the very early stages of development and will continue to grow.
